Pangu 10.0.2 Release Date :
It is a bit too soon to expect a full fledged jailbreak installer Pangu 10.0.2 for iOS 10.0.2 firmware, especially as it has just been updated again but we have already seen the evidence that it can be done. Apple said that they were going to make it pretty much impossible to jailbreak iOS 10 but Luca Todesco has proved otherwise. Within a couple of days of release, the Italian developer had already uploaded a video of a jailbroken iPad on iOS 10 to his Twitter account and very quickly followed it up with a photograph showing the black edition of the iPhone 7 jailbroken on iOS 10.0.1.

For those that are skeptical of this, apart from the fact that Todesco has considerable experience in hacking, particularly iOS firmware, you can check out the evidence on his Twitter account under the handle of @qwertyoruiopz . However, Luca will not release the jailbreak simply because he does this as part of his work as a mobile security researcher and not for public use.
iOS 10.0.2 Jailbreak Installer Release Date :
With iOS 10 updated for the second time, we should now expect Tag or Pangu to release an iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak rather than just for iOS 10. When they work on their jailbreaks, they want them to work on the maximum number of devices and the latest iOS version they possibly can. There is a good chance that iOS 10.0.2 has patched the vulnerabilities used in Todesco’s iOS 10.0.1 jailbreak anyway so they won’t be usable by either team. This is part of the reason why jailbreak teams do not announce what they are doing until they are ready to release. Doing so does nothing more than telling Apple that there are vulnerabilities that need patching up and that is exactly what they do before the jailbreak can be released.
For now, if you are still running on iOS 9.3 and using PPHelper jailbreak, hold on to it. As soon as we have news on the iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak we’ll send the details straight to you but, to get them, you should follow us on Facebook and Subscribe to our free email newsletter.
