Pangu 9 – v1.3.0 Jailbreak Download

When iOS 9 was released for the public, the Pangu team had made the jailbreak community happy by releasing the iOS 9 jailbreak. Of course, the happiness wasn’t long-lived, as Apple patched the jailbreak in iOS 9.1, and we started expecting the next jailbreak from Pangu, obviously. However, a lot of months went by without any information about the next jailbreak. We had already moved on from iOS 9.2 and had started to think of the iOS 9.3 jailbreak when all of a sudden, the Pangu iOS 9.1 jailbreak released today !

What’s New in Pangu iOS 9.1 Jailbreak ?

Pangu has released the iOS 9.1 jailbreak for 64-bit iPod Touch, iPad, and iPhone devices. The jailbreak tool has been made available for Mac as well as Windows users. The official changelog for Pangu 9.1 jailbreak v1.3.0 for Windows and v1.1.0 for Mac is as follows :

pangu 9.1 jailbreak1

As you can notice, the new iOS 9.1 jailbreak only works on 64-bit iOS devices. The support devices include the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Pro, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air, and iPad Air 2. And yes of course, to use the jailbreak tool, your iOS device must be running iOS 9.1 currently.

Of course, iOS 9.1 was released way back and most of the users have already shifted to iOS 9.2 or iOS 9.2.1. So very less number of people will actually be able to use the new Pangu iOS 9.1 jailbreak. But why did Pangu not release an iOS 9.2 jailbreak ? According to the Pangu team itself :

pangu 9.1 jailbreak0

That’s the explanation, but it hardly helps. As Apple has stopped signing iOS 9.1 firmware months ago, people who have updated to iOS 9.2 or above cannot downgrade and will have to wait for an iOS 9.3 jailbreak.
