Pangu 10.0.2 Release Date :

It is a bit too soon to expect a full fledged jailbreak installer Pangu 10.0.2 for iOS 10.0.2 firmware, especially as it has just been updated again but we have already seen the evidence that it can be done. Apple said that they were going to make it pretty much impossible to jailbreak iOS 10 but Luca Todesco has proved otherwise. Within a couple of days of release, the Italian developer had already uploaded a video of a jailbroken iPad on iOS 10 to his Twitter account and very quickly followed it up with a photograph showing the black edition of the iPhone 7 jailbroken on iOS 10.0.1.

For those that are skeptical of this, apart from the fact that Todesco has considerable experience in hacking, particularly iOS firmware, you can check out the evidence on his Twitter account under the handle of @qwertyoruiopz . However, Luca will not release the jailbreak simply because he does this as part of his work as a mobile security researcher and not for public use.

iOS 10.0.2 Jailbreak Installer Release Date :

With iOS 10 updated for the second time, we should now expect Tag or Pangu to release an iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak rather than just for iOS 10. When they work on their jailbreaks, they want them to work on the maximum number of devices and the latest iOS version they possibly can. There is a good chance that iOS 10.0.2 has patched the vulnerabilities used in Todesco’s iOS 10.0.1 jailbreak anyway so they won’t be usable by either team. This is part of the reason why jailbreak teams do not announce what they are doing until they are ready to release. Doing so does nothing more than telling Apple that there are vulnerabilities that need patching up and that is exactly what they do before the jailbreak can be released.

For now, if you are still running on iOS 9.3 and using PPHelper jailbreak, hold on to it. As soon as we have news on the iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak we’ll send the details straight to you but, to get them, you should follow us on Facebook and Subscribe to our free email newsletter.

    1. As 10.0.1 breaks the JB it’s best to proceed forward, my predictions for the next JB at the earliest would be around November. Reason for this is the bugs will be ironed out, maximum amount of iDevices will be sold & possibly iOS 10.2 for a solid & stable release.
We must also take note that not every application devoted to iOS 10 has been pushed out yet such as the camera enhancements & Nintendo’s platform game. (Yes Nintendo will release their console version next year)

  1. Is it possible to jailbreak without disabling find my iPhone? (Browser based jailbreak I’m asking about) …please reply ! Thank you

  2. These guys are a joke. Go check out Redmond Pie who actually has real info and hack for the phones as well as a jailbreak for iPhone 7.

  3. 9.3.5 is out of question. JB team is focusing on 10.0.2. The only full JB available is only for 9.3.3 which can’t be downgraded (if you are running on IOS 10). Have tried it and I have to restore my 6S via iTunes to IOS 10 and force start after it stuck in DFU for ages.

    1. Ken, you can downgrade to 9.3.5 but no point other then if you don’t like ios10, this is due to once your firmware upgrade to 10, then as for now, you can’t jb, good luck

  4. Im a novice sorry…my phone is running under ios8.2 (12D508) ¿what do you recomend to me?its good idea to install now the last ofical firm?

  5. Hi, i am a member from panguteam,
We already demonstrated our jailbreak for ios 10.0 on mosec but that exploit was patched within the release of ios 10.0 b5 but now ios 10.1 beta 3 is released and we have exploits to jailbreak 10.0.1-10.1 (it is an exploit in the device camera coprocessor) we are now waiting for apple to release the final version of ios 10.1 to (release our jailbreak). releasing a jailbreak is very hard because we are testing if the exploit works on the device, we are modifying the exploit and we are checking if the exploit will fail after exploiting and patching the kernel. I can confirm this jailbreak is not supported on iphone 5,5c This means our exploit only works on 64-bit devices. for ios 9.3.5 we have a exploit but this will release soon(no release date for this)
